Local Open Spaces

Coffee Pond

  • Launch is off the Coffee Pond Road near Rt 11 intersection in Webb's Mills.

Crescent Beach

  • Edwards Road, just off Rt 11. Residents and Guests only.

Dingley Fields

  • Brown Ave, behind the South Casco Fire Station. This field is used for the Rookie and Minor League baseball teams as well as the 10 and under softball teams.

Hacker's Hill Preserve

  • Hacker's Hill Road. At the top of the hill are open grassy fields for walking, picnicking, scenic viewing, sunset gazing and photography.

Hancock Memorial Field

  • Near intersection of Rt 11 and Rt 121, behind Casco Memorial Field. The field has one major league ball field that is also for adult softball and kickball. Contact the recreation department for a listing of programs.

Jugtown Forest

  • Edes Falls Road. Enjoy miles of marked trails in accordance with Hancock Lumber's rules and regulations. Snowmobiling is allowed in the forest, as is hunting; be sure to wear blaze orange from October through December. Questions: 627-7676 ext. 2020.

Libby Park

  • Brown Avenue off of Quaker Ridge Road. Offering a basketball court, tennis court, and swings.

Manning Field

  • Raymond Cape Road. Right off Rt 302 heading south at Cry of the Loon, about 1/2 mile on right. Look for sign. This is a small field used for tee ball and 8 and under softball.

Mayberry Hill Preserve

  • Trail head is on Mayberry Hill Road. Park along the road, near white farmhouse and field. Looping trail on 160 acres of mixed woodlands, meadow and streams.

Parker Pond

  • Mayberry Hill Road. Gravel launch off Lord road. Suitable for small boats and hand carry.

Pleasant Lake

  • Pleasant Beach is located on Mayberry Hill Road, just off Rt 121. Residents and guests only.

Thompson Lake

  • Heath Road. Public launch at Thompson Lake Marina.

Thomas Pond

  • Gravel launch is located near the outlet on Rt 302 at the Raymond/Casco town line. Suitable for small boats and hand carry.

Webb's Mills Park

  • At the intersection of Rt 11 and Rt 85. Webb's Mills Park offers a gazebo and benches on the river. It's perfect for playing Frisbee, throwing a football, or letting the kids run around.
