Dog licenses expire on December 31st each year. Renewal tags are usually available at the town office beginning October 15th. As of April 1st of the following year there is typically a state late fee of $25.00

Dog Licensing

The owner or keeper, within 10 days of the dog reaching the age of 6 months, or when a person becomes the owner or keeper of a dog aged 6 months or more, shall obtain a license from the clerk of the municipality where the dog is kept.

The fees for licensing a dog are:
Female/Male $11.00
Spayed/Neuter $ 6.00

Proof of current immunization against rabies is required for dog licensing.
Proof of Spaying or Neutering is required for dog licensing

Lost Pet Website Listing Information

To have a lost pet posted on this website the owner must complete the
Lost Pet Report Form.

The owner information section must be completely filled in.

The information will be posted on the this website for 30 days, after which the information will be removed.

If your pet is recovered before the end of the 30 day period you are required to inform the Town Office.

Animals that are found by the Town's Animal Control Officers are taken to Harvest Hills Animal Shelter.
